Jeewan Dhara, operated by the Ambala Red Cross, provides a warm and nurturing home for senior citizens in our community. We are dedicated to creating an environment where residents feel valued, respected, and cared for. Our focus is on fostering a sense of community, ensuring that each individual experiences a fulfilling and comfortable life. At Jeewan Dhara, we strive to make every day meaningful, offering a range of services and activities designed to enrich the lives of our beloved seniors.
The District Red Cross Society, Ambala is running Home for Senior Citizen. In this home there are total 25 rooms out of which 13 rooms are single & 12 rooms are double bedded. The rooms have single/double beds, chairs, table, almirah, attached toilets. The rooms for couples have attached kitchen as well. The home has common mess, library and indoor games. A nominal rent is charged from the inmates. A contributory Mess being run by all the members of Home at their own level in which cook & helper facility is provided by Red Cross. During this tenure 27 persons benefited from this Home and presently 26 (13 male and 13 female) inmates are residing in this Home. Medical facility is also available for all the members. The various programmes in association with the different Educational and Social Institutions with the Senior Citizens to provide them a sense of security and recognition in the society.
